Zamalek officially signed Ismaily midfielder Ibrahim Hassan as the team's first signing in the summer transfer window, the Whites' president Mortada Mansour announced on Sunday in a press conference at the club's headquarters.

"I agreed with Ismaily chairman Ibrahim Osman on the deal, and Hassan signed contracts last August, but we didn't announce it until reaching an agreement with his team's management," Mansour told the press conference, without disclosing the details of the deal.

"Ibrahim Hassan is a brilliant player and his signing could be a great deal for the team. He will also be a good addition to the team's squad next season," Mansour said.

Hassan attracted attention during his participation with Ismaily last season, helping his team to finish second in the Egyptian Premier League table as well helping them book a place in the CAF Champions League next season.

The Egypt's Cup winners, Zamalek finished fourth in the Egyptian Premier League teams' table last season.
