Egypt's Meteorological Authority warned on Wednesday of extremely hot weather in Cairo, as well as across the rest of the country.
Cairo and the Nile Delta will see highs of 40C and a low of 24C, while Alexandria and Matrouh will see a high of 34C and a low of 21C.
North Sinai will see a high of 36C and a low of 19C with South Sinai experiencing highs of 39 C and a low of 33 C.
Governorates along the Red Sea coast will see a high of 40C and a low of 29C while temperatures in Upper Egypt will get as high as 43C and drop as low as 24C.
