Egypt has expressed support for India and extended condolences for the hundreds of people who have died in the worst floods in the country in a century.

In the southern state of Kerala, there have been more than 350 deaths from the constant rain. Many people have been killed in landslides, are feared trapped, or have been displaced by the floods.

Egypt's foreign ministry affirmed Cairo’s support in a statement on Sunday for the government and people of India and the families of the victims.
