Angolan side Primeiro de Agosto earned a first-leg advantage in the Champions League semis after claiming a late 1-0 win over Tunisian side Esperance in Luanda on Tuesday.
Esperance keeper Rami Jeridi was the culprit, inexcplibably failing to collect an innocous shot from Pedro Bua, who scored the winner with eight minutes remaining.
substitute Saad Beguir could have brought Esperance level four minutes later but sent his shot over the bar with the goal gaping.
Esperance defender Khalil Chammam was sent-off after receiving a second yellow card in stoppage time.
The second-leg will take place in Tunisia on 23 October.
