Egypt offered its deep condolences to Nigeria on Friday after floods struck the country's central and southern regions, killing nearly 200 people.
A foreign ministry statement noted that both Egypt’s government and people express their support for the people and government of Nigeria.
The Egyptian foreign ministry also expressed its confidence that Nigeria would be able to overcome the floods.
