Egypt and Huddersfield winger Ramadan Sobhi has been given the green light to return to Huddersfield Town's squad after recovering from a knee injury that sidelined him for more than a month.

The 21-year-old winger Sobhi revealed his pleasure to return to the English Premier League side's training on Saturday, saying he may return to Huddersfield's squad in next week's game against Liverpool in the 9th matchday of the English Premier League.

"I am fine, everything is ok, my knee is better now,” Ramadan Sobhi was quoted as saying on the Huddersfield's official website after his first training session.

"I was in my first training session today. I am happy to be running and I’m happy my knee is good now," he added.

The Pharaohs player was left off of Huddersfield's squad for more than a month, after picking up a knee injury in training last August.

"I’ve been working very hard with all the staff at Huddersfield Town,” he said. "I’ve been working every day and now I’m back on the pitch, I’m happy. Thanks to all the staff at Huddersfield Town for making my knee ok.”

Winger Sobhi made his debut with Huddersfield on 19 August, coming on as a second-half substitute in the 6-1 loss to Manchester City.

"I haven’t played in the Huddersfield Town Stadium yet, but I’m excited to play in front of all the Huddersfield Town fans," he added.

Ramadan Sobhi penned a three-year deal with Huddersfield Town in June, a few days before playing with Egypt in their 2018 World Cup campaign.

The former Ahly and Stoke City winger featured in all three of Egypt’s games in Russia, but was used as a substitute.

Huddersfield are 18th in the English Premier League table with only 3 points after playing eight games, with five losses and three draws.
