Huddersfield's Egyptian winger Ramadan Sobhi is in contention to make his second Premier League appearance of the season after he was declared fit for Saturday's game against Watford.

Sobhi has been out of action since picking up a knee injury in August. His only Premier League appearance following his summer arrival at Huddersfield from the relegated Stoke City came in the 6-1 loss to Manchester City in the second match of the season.

"Ramadan is fit and he is now back in full training since more than two weeks," Huddersfield coach David Wagner told the pre-match news conference on Friday.

"He was tight to make the squad against Liverpool to be totally honest, but I thought it was better to give him a second full week of training, especially with a Saturday he would have missed with being in the squad against Liverpool.

"We were able to give him training (instead), so he is ready and back in contention, and if everything goes to plan today in training he will be back in the squad. He looks sharp in training as well.

"It's good to have him back now in our group, without any further problems in the last two or two-and-a-half weeks," Wagner added.

Sobhi will be eager to prove his worth after losing his regular place in Egypt's starting line-up.

The 21-year-old made 28 appearances with Stoke last season, scoring four goals and providing a solitary assist. He joined Huddersfield in the close season on a three-year deal for £5.7 million.
