The head of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority's Analysis Centre Mahmoud Shahin has said that most parts of the country will witness warmer weather this week, with temperatures averaging 30 degrees Celsius in the day time.
Shahin noted the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in the area between the Red Sea mountains and Halayeb, as well as heavy rain in southern Upper Egypt on Thursday.
Last week, Cairo and other parts of the country were hit with dust storms.
The EMA's average temperature forecast for the upcoming four days:
Cairo and the Nile Delta: highs of 30 and lows of 18.
Northwestern coast: highs of 28 and lows of 19.
Northeastern coast and North Sinai: highs of 27 and lows of 20.
Northern Upper Egypt: highs of 31 and lows of 17.
Hurghada and South Sinai: highs of 31 and lows of 24.
Southern Upper Egypt/ Halayeb and Shalateen: highs of 34 and lows of 21.
