World Youth Forum 2018

A number of workshops focusing on envisioning the future of Africa and empowering people with disabilities have been held in Egypt’s Sharm El-Sheikh ahead of the upcoming World Youth Forum.

In the first workshop, titled ‘Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want,’ participants from different African countries envisioned the future of Africa politically, economically and socially based on the challenges the continent is currently facing.

The second workshop focused on empowering people with disabilities, where participants discussed how inclusive education is integral to achieving goals and dreams, as well as how to help those with disabilities integrate into society.

The second edition of the World Youth Forum, which is expected to be attended by some 5,000 young people from 165 countries, is to take place from 3 to 6 November under the auspices of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.
