President Sisi launches intitiative to treat blindness, poor vision

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi attended on Saturday the launching ceremony of the Nour Hayah initiative, which aims to treat diseases that cause blindness or poor vision.

The initiative is being implemented by the Tahya Misr (Long Live Egypt) Fund.

During the ceremony, Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr, who also serves as chairman of the fund's executive committee, said that president El-Sisi was the first to contribute to the fund.

Nasr hailed the fund's role as a partner in community development and important projects, as it has offered many services and initiatives that have benefited families nationwide.
