Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi arrived Sunday in Tunisia to take part in the 30th Arab Summit, due to kick off later in the day.
El-Sisi was welcomed by Tunisian officials and a military parade at the airport.
The two-day Arab Summit will tackle a number of Arab issues, including the Palestinian crisis as well as the Syrian and Libyan files.
The summit will also address the status of Jerusalem and the Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
