President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi said his talks with the Romanian President Klaus Iohannis have proven that opportunities of cooperation are promising, adding that he is looking forward that his visit to Romania would give a strong momentum to bilateral cooperation.
"Our talks were fruitful and constructive as usual," President Sisi said, praising the current breakthrough in bilateral relations particularly the economic and tourist ones.
Trade between the two nations exceeded one billion dollars in 2018 and charter flights to Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada have multiplied, he added.
The meeting was an important opportunity to exchange views regarding the latest regional and international developments in light of the escalating challenges, the president added.
"We reviewed Egypt's vision on the peaceful settlement of current crises in the Arab region," he added, pointing out that there is no way to reach security and stability in the Middle East without settling the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
