Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has been fined £8,000 and warned about his future conduct after he admitted a misconduct charge in relation to betting, the English Football Association (FA) said here on Wednesday.
It was alleged the 44-year-old former England international had placed 140 bets on soccer matches between August 2015 and January 2019.
