Egyptian singer and composer Mohamed Mohsen will give a concert on Tuesday 20 August at the Salah adl-Din Citadel at the 28th Citadel Festival for Music and Singing.
In addition to his own originals, Mohsen is expected to perform a number of Egyptian traditional covers of Sayed Darwisch, Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, Shiekh Imam and other legendary composers whose music gave him such a fame.
45 concerts will be performed at the 28th Citadel Festival for Music and Singing between 18 August and 1 September hosting three concerts everyday at the historical venue.
Cairo Steps, Massar Egbari, Nesma Abdel Aziz, Ali El-Haggar, Hani Shaker, Medhat Saleh, Ghalia Ben Ali, Dina El-Wedidi and Omar Khairat are among the highlights of singers and bands performing at the festivals in addition to performances from Algeria, China, Namibia and Venezuela.
