Egypt's minister of military production and China ambassador discuss joint cooperation

Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed El-Assar discussed with Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang means to boost cooperation between Egypt and China on Wednesday.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Military Production said the two sides reiterated the importance of cooperation between military production companies and Chinese firms in various domains in a way that would benefit the two sides.

They also discussed cooperation in the fields of manufacturing electric cars, the establishment of a complex for producing solar energy panels, projects for solar energy and infrastructure, transfer of technology of smart water, gas, and electricity meters.

The meeting touched on means of fruitful cooperation in manufacturing household appliances, optical fibers and security devices and collaboration in technical and vocational training and defensive and civilian industries in line with state-of-the-art technologies.

The Chinese ambassador praised the potentials and expertise of the military production ministry and Egypt's interest in issuing laws on investment, trade and industry that help attract more international companies to invest in Egypt.

The Chinese diplomat expressed happiness over cooperation between Chinese companies and the military production firms to encourage more Chinese companies to launch joint partnerships with the military production ministry.

They agreed to exchange visits by technical delegations from the ministry and Chinese companies to pave the way for more future successes.
