Egypt's Sisi heads to New York to attend UN General Assembly's 74th session

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi left Cairo for New York on Friday to participate in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, which kicks off next Tuesday.

The president will address the General Assembly on Wednesday.

El-Sisi is expected to hold a number of meetings with international leaders and UN officials on means of developing relations and on issues of common interest.

Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry headed to New York on Thursday.
