Egyptian and French naval forces carried out Sunday a transit naval training in the northern fleet region of the Mediterranean Sea.
The training encompassed several activities, including sailing formations, demonstrating the ability of participating naval units to position themselves accurately and rapidly.
It also included artillery practice for protecting naval units while crossing dangerous areas, as well as training on the inspection of suspicious ships, and vertical transport of personnel and equipment by helicopters.
The training aims to enhance the skills and abilities of participating forces, and the exchange of experience between the Egyptian and French sides to contribute to raising the combat efficiency of naval forces in both countries
