Egypt's General Organisation for Culture Palaces (GOCP) has just released the latest book in its "Revolution’s Creations" series, entitled "18 Days That Put Egypt on Top of the World,"by writer Abdul Moneim Halawa. The book tackles Egypt's January 25 Revolution, which culminated in the ouster of long standing president Hosni Mubarak.

The book tells – in detail – the story of the 18-day confrontation between Mubarak and anti-regime protesters arrayed in Cairo's Tahrir Square. According to the author, the period between 25 January and 11 February – the day of Mubarak's ouster – may have seemed short, but they were actually some of the longest days in Egypt's history.
