During his visit to Berlin, Egypt’s Minister of Transport Kamel El-Wazir witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Egyptian National Railway Authority and the German National Railway Company Deutsche Bahn (DB) to provide various services related to the railway sector in Egypt.
The minister said that the agreement includes advisory services, training and education on the technical, professional and administrative levels in order to further develop and reform the Egyptian railways and increase their quality, efficiency and safety.
The minister added that DB has agreed to employ a number of distinguished Egyptian engineers and labourers in the company in Germany.
