Egypt’s Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned of a wave of unstable weather nationwide from Tuesday till Thursday, an official at the authority said.
Eman Shaker, the EMA’s Director of Remote Sensing, said in TV statements that chances of rainfall are higher along the northern coast, the Nile Delta and Cairo.
Shaker added that dusty winds are expected from Tuesday till Thursday, accompanied by a two-degree drop in temperatures.
The winter season officially began in Egypt on Saturday, according to Shaker.
Over the past weeks, Egypt has seen several instances of flash floods that have caused road closures and traffic congestion.
