The Egyptian handball national team thrashed Guinea 39-22 on Wednesday in their opening match of the 2020 African Men's Handball Championship, which qualifies to the Olympics.
Egypt are playing in Group A alongside DR Congo, Guinea, and Kenya in the 24th edition of the African Championship held in Tunisia.
The Pharaohs will face Kenya on Friday, and their last match in the group stage will be against DR Congo on Sunday.
The African Championship includes 16 teams divided to four groups with four teams each, and the first and second of each group qualify to the quarter-finals.
The champion will qualify directly to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, while the runner-up will enter world play-offs to win a seat in the Olympics.
