The weather in Egypt has cleared up following a wave of unstable weather conditions on Thursday and Friday.
The weather in Greater Cairo is warm during the day with a high of 21 degrees Celsius, and is cold at night with a low of 13. The winds are moderate and, light to medium rains are expected in some regions until midday.
The Nile Delta and the northwest coast is witnessing a warm weather during the day, and very cold at night, with moderate rain and wind.
Meanwhile, the northeastern coast and central Sinai should see active winds with moderate to heavy rains, with possible torrential rains and thunderstorms in some areas.
In South Sinai and the Red Sea Mountains, moderate rains in some areas and active winds will lead to the disruption of maritime navigation.
On Saturday, Alexandria is seeing a high of 20 degrees Celsius and a low of 12, while temperatures in Upper Egypt, usually the warmest in the country, will hit 26 degrees in Aswan governorate.
Navigation at Damietta, Alexandria, Suez, Safaga, Hurghada and Nuweiba ports is back to normal, Egypt's Ministry of Transport announced on Saturday. However, Sharm El Sheikh port remains closed.
On Friday, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi praised "Egyptians' high spirit of cooperation and connectedness," in dealing with the weather disturbances that swept the country this weekend.
He also expressed his condolences to the families of those killed in the unstable weather, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
The bad weather that swept the country since Thursday killed 20 people, delayed flights and forced the closure of major highways.
