Egypt's foreign ministry said it has postponed the celebrations marking the Egyptian Diplomacy Day as a precautionary measure against the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The Egyptian Diplomacy Day is annually celebrated on 15 March.
The ministry added in a statement on Saturday that the decision is part of measures taken nationwide to limit mass gatherings to maintain public safety.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Egypt has reached 93.
Since its outbreak in December 2019, coronavirus (COVID-19) has infected more than 150,094 people globally and killed more than 5,617.
