Egypt’s National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics announced that an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale has hit East Nueweiba in South Sinai.
According to the institute, its National Seismic Network recorded early on Sunday the earthquake 20 km away from East Nueweiba city on latitude 28.9587 ° N, longitude 34.8517 ° E at a depth of 18 km.
The institute added that no casualties or financial losses have been reported.
