Two-month livestreamed WE Online Music Festival reveals line up

HOH, Massar Egbari, Al Mawlawiyah, Sheikh Ehab Younis, Aida El Ayoubi, and El Morabba3 band are among many performers to participate in WE Online Music Festival. which takes place between 3 May and 3 July

Having already held two concerts, WE Online Music Festival revealed the full line-up of the livestreamed events which will take place until 3 July.

The festival kicked off on 3 May featuring the well-known band Wust El Balad.

The second event took place on 8 May featuring Egyptian Project and Dina El Wedidi in an over two-hour concert.

The online livestreamed festival is organised by WE Telecom company in cooperation with CNL Music.

The concerts begin at 10pm, live-streamed on WE Telecom’s YouTube channel.

The upcoming line-up includes the following bands:

Friday 15 May: Double bill
Aida El Ayoubi, an Egyptian songwriter, singer and guitarist
HOH band consisting of three well-known musicians from independent bands, Hany Adel (Wust El-Balad), Ousso Lotfy (Nagham Masry) and Hany El Dakkak (Massar Egbari)

Tuesday 19 May: Triple bill
Sheikh Ehab Younis presenting muwashshahat and inshad
Al Hadra band performing Sufi music
Al Mawlawiyah, the Egyptian Sufi band formed by singer Amer Eltony

Sunday 24 May
Taking place on the first day of Eid, the concert's line-up is a surprise to the listeners 

Monday 25 May
Disco Misr, an Egyptian band performing oriental sounds with a twist of disco and funk

Tuesday 26 May: Double bill
The evening will feature two of Egypt’s top rappers 
Wegz and Marwan Moussa

Friday 5 June
Massar Egbari, a well-known Egyptian oriental rock band presenting music and songs tackling social problems

Friday 19 June
El Morabba3, a Jordanian Arabic rock band

Friday 26 June
Aziz Maraka, a Jordanian composer, singer and music producer
