Egypt’s Ministry of Health has announced that it recorded 1,467 new cases of coronavirus in the country on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases to 34,079.
It also recorded 39 new deaths, raising the total death toll to 1,237.
The ministry also said in its statement that 423 patients have been discharged from hospitals after their full recovery from the virus, bringing the total number of those who have fully recovered to 8,961.
It also revealed in its daily report on coronavirus that the number of patients whose PCR results changed from positive to negative has reached 10,131, including those who have fully recovered.
