Egypt's U-23 coach Shawky Gharib has announced the Olympic team's final squad for the two friendly games against South Korea and Brazil within preparations for the Olympic games next summer.
The young Pharaohs started a training camp last week that will see the team face South Korea and Brazil on 12 and 17 November respectively.
Gharib still acknowledged that Egypt's senior team should be given priority in player selection as they gear up for a double header against Togo in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
"Egypt's coach Gharib will wait to see the state of Pyramids FC winger Ramadan Sobhi, Zamalek's striker Mostafa Mohamed, Ahly's Taher Mohamed Taher and Akram Tawfiq and gauge whether they will remain on the senior team or be sent back to the U-23 team," read a statement by the Olympic national technical staff.
Egypt reached the Olympic Games after winning the U-23 Nations Cup on home soil in November last year.
