Zamalek’s midfielder Mohamed Hassan has tested positive for coronavirus, the player announced via his Instagram account on Tuesday.

The 27 year old is the second White Knights player to test positive for the virus lately after team skipper Hazem Emam.

Zamalek’s next major test will be on 27 November when they face archrivals Ahly in the African Champions League final in Cairo.

Hassan, who joined the Whites from Wadi Degla in the summer of 2018, has made 17 appearances in different competitions this season.

Zamalek recently ended the Egyptian league season in the second place with 71 points, 18 behind champions Ahly.
