Ahly's juggernaut is expected to roll on as they face promoted National Bank of Egypt (NBE) in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.

Holders Ahly have made an impressive start to the defence of their crown, winning five of their opening six games and drawing once against Wadi Degla.

Four of those victories have been comprehensive, including the latest 4-1 win over El-Entag El-Harby after Ahly once again produced a devastating attacking game that tore their opponents' backline to shreds.

South African coach Pitso Mosimane has kept faith with the attractive brand of football introduced by his predecessor Rene Weiler last season, improving aspects of it and increasing the team's attacking options.

Ahly fans are usually left guessing every game as to who Mosimane would prefer to field as a lone frontman, with Mohamed Sherif and new arrival Walter Bwalya vying for the place.

There is also an abundance of talents on both wings, which help Ahly bombard their feeble opponents with waves after waves of attacks.

Degla, the only side to hold Ahly to a 0-0 stalemate, put 10 men behind the ball to keep their illustrious opponents at bay and NBE might have to follow suit to have a chance of avoiding defeat.

NBE, who are making their top-flight debut, lie 12th in the table after collecting seven points from seven games.
