Zamalek skipper Hazem Emam and central defender Mahmoud El-Wensh will miss Tuesday's African Champions League game away to Senegal's Teungueth due to injury, the club said on Saturday.
Veteran right-back Emam is out with a muscle problem while El-Wensh was left out of Zamalek's squad after hurting his knee in the team's 2-1 victory over Ismaily in the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday.
Young right-back Ahmed Eid is likely to deputize for Emam while Mohamed Abdel-Ghani will replace the in-form El-Wensh in the heart of Zamalek's four-man backline.
The White Knights will face Teungueth FC in their second Group D game of the Champions League at Stade Lat-Dior in Senegalese city Thies.
Zamalek will fly to Senegal late on Saturday to start their preparations for the game against Teungueth, who kicked off their group-stage campaign with a 2-1 defeat by Tunisian giants Esperance.
The Cairo club are seeking to make amends for a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to MC Alger in their opening Group D match.
