Sudan will have dual system for Islamic and non-Islamic banking : Central bank governor

Sudan's central bank governor said on Sunday authorities had decided on a dual system for Islamic and non-Islamic banking as the country seeks to attract international banks and exchange houses.

"In Sudan there was the Islamic system for banks only, but there will be the traditional banking system and we invite international banks and major exchange companies to work in Sudan," said Mohamed al-Fatih Zainelabidine.
