President of Spain’s La Liga Javier Tebas revealed that it’s unlikely that Egypt’s Liverpool star Mohamed Salah will be transferred to Spanish giants Real Madrid or Barcelona in the summer transfer market.
Both teams are not in their top form in the field right now, with Barcelona suffering several administrative problems that have led to the election of a new president.
“It is unlikely that Salah will move to Real Madrid or Barcelona in the summer, it will also be very hard for him to leave the Premier League, as he won’t get enough money,” Tebas told ON Time Sports.
“I wish that one day Salah will come and join Real or Barca, but I guess the bad financial situation of both teams will make it hard to close any deal,” Tebas added.
Salah, who joined Liverpool in July 2017, is reportedly the most expensive player in the Premier League, and the 3rd most paid player in the world behind Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar and Mbappe, with an approximate value of €120 million.
