Egypt has offered its condolences to Kazakhstan after a military plane crash that left four killed and two injured.

"Egypt extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

"We stand by our sisterly country during such a tragedy," it added.
