The emerging Egyptian team Wadi Degla look to strengthen their front line

Ezechiel Ndouassel

Egyptian Premier League team Wadi Degla have officially approached the Tunisian Club Africain about contracting striker Ezechiel Ndouassel as of this summer.

According to state news agency MENA, Degla sent a fax to their Tunisian counterpart inquiring about the price tag on the imposing Chadian.

Since joining Club Africain in January 2011, the 24-year old striker has made a big impression. Ndouassel soon became instrumental in the team's frontline and has scored three goals in 11 league games until now.

Wadi Degla coach Walter Meeuws has also been looking at Gouna striker Arafa El-Sayed as one of his top targets this summer.

The Belgian tactician is seeking to strengthen his front line to boost the team's performance ahead of the campaign next season.

Degla, which emerged into the top flight in 2010/2011, barely survived relegation in their first season and were in the danger zone in the last campaign.
