The National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation’s (NMEC) board announced a 50 percent discount on its tickets upon the inauguration of its main hall on 4 April.

Twenty-two royal Egyptian mummies are set to be transferred from their current place at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to their final exhibition destination at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation in Fustat in a much-awaited parade in the streets of Cairo on 3 April
The royal procession will take spectators back in time to ancient Egypt, when kings and queens were transported to their tombs towards eternity.
Representatives from Egyptian, Arab, and international media will be allowed to photograph the main exhibition hall of the NMEC for free, MENA reported.
The Supreme Council of Antiquities said the price of tickets will be EGP 60 for Egyptian visitors, 30 EGP for Egyptian students, 200 EGP for foreign visitors and 100 EGP for foreign students.
