An official official told Ahram Arabic portal tha a curfew in Cairo's Abbasiya area will be applied on Saturday from 11pm till Sunday 6am.
The ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) issued a curfew from Friday 11pm till 7am on Saturday, in the wake of the clashes that erupted between protesters and army forces in front of the ministry of defence in Abbasiya.
At least two were killed and hundreds injured in the turmoil.
