Egypt reported 1,132 new coronavirus infections on Saturday, bringing total infections nationwide since the outbreak last year to 236,272.

The health ministry detected 66 new fatalities, bringing the death toll to 13,845.

435 patients have been discharged from hospitals in the past 24 hours following recovery, bringing total recoveries to 176,363.
