Egypt expressed sorrow for the killing of Nigeria's Chief of Army staff Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 other officers in a plane crash on Friday.
In a press statement the Foreign Ministry extended condolences to the government, people and army of Nigeria for this loss.
“Egypt stands in solidarity with Nigeria during this time of grief,” the statement read.
