Egyptian multi-award actor Sherif Desouky, 53, is starting a rehabilitation programme after his foot amputation surgery took place, on Monday, due to an injury complicated with diabetes.
"He is currently out of the hospital and will start on going physiological rehabilitation to get used to his new state and accept it," his acting colleague Badriya Tolba stated on Tuesday.
The star of 2018's acclaimed film 'Night/Exterior' and 2020's Ramadan season top-viewed TV series 'B-100 Wesh', stated two months ago that he had been injured during shooting of some TV series, blaming producers for not sponsoring his therapy.
Many actors and filmmakers have stated good wishes for the talented Alexandrian actor, director and writer, who was among the stars of winter season hit film 'Waafet Reggala', praying for his speedy recovery.
