Egypt and Pakistan have started a multi-day air drill in Egypt dubbed 'Sky Protectors-1', the Egyptian military spokesman said on Wednesday.

The training is being held for the first time ever between the two countries and will last for several days, the military spokesman said.

It includes various activities to exchange expertise in the field of air defense – in light of developments in aerial weapons – and training on securing airspace and defending vital targets, he added.
