Egypt maintains position in FIFA's May world ranking

Egypt stayed in fourth place among Arab countries, behind Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.

The Egyptian national team remained in 46th place in the monthly FIFA ranking announced on Thursday.

The Pharaohs came in sixth place among African countries, behind Senegal (22), Tunisia (26), Nigeria (32), Algeria (33), and Morocco (34).

Egypt also stayed in fourth place among Arab countries, behind Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.

The top 10 teams maintained their positions, headed by Belgium, France and Brazil respectively.

Egypt's’ next game is scheduled to be against Angola in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, where they play in Group F, which includes Libya and Gabon.
