Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashaat said on Friday the government is keen on boosting cooperation with all partners, especially Arab countries.

In press statements on the sidelines of her participation in the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Mashaat pointed out that the government prepares for holding an Egyptian-Libyan higher committee to bolster bilateral ties in all fields.

Egypt also held the joint committee meetings with Iraq by the end of 2020 and joint committee meetings with Jordan as well, the minister noted, pointing to ongoing coordination with the two sides to implement development projects.

The minister stated that Egyptian-Russian relations are distinguished at all levels, as the two sides jointly implement projects in the fields of nuclear energy, transport, oil, and gas.

The Egyptian-Russian committee will be held in June under the ministers of trade and industry to discuss increasing trade exchange and economic cooperation, she underlined.

She said that she had discussed with the Russian economic development minister the possibility of settling the manufacture of Russian cars in Egypt, as well as the food industry.
