Kaizer Chiefs boss Arthur Zwane has admitted that his side will not be the favourites to win the African Champions League trophy when they face Ahly in the final, but said they will give their all to make history.

The South African side reached their first ever Champions League final after beating Morocco's Wydad 1-0 on aggregate in a two-legged semi-final.

The Lords stunned Wydad 1-0 in Casablanca in the first leg before securing a goalless draw at home in the second on Saturday,

They will have a mountain to climb when they face defending champions and nine-time African champions Ahly in the final, which will be held Morocco on 17 July.

“We are going there knowing again we will be underdogs," Zwane  told the club's official website on Sunday.

"But we have three and a half weeks to prepare thoroughly.

"It was never going to be an easy journey for us, we knew it was going to be tough to compete against the best teams in Africa."
