Taekwondo: Egypt's Mahmoud loses to Bosnian Husic in -68kg quarters

Egyptian taekwondo fighter Abdel Rahman Wael Mahmoud was eliminated at the quarter-final stage after losing to Bosnian Nedzad Husic in the men's -68kg event on Sunday. 

Mahmoud narrowly lost 8-7, missing out on a semi-final spot. He caused an upset earlier in the day by defeating Javier Perez of Spain 22-00 in the round of 16.

The 25-year-old won 6-2, 0-7 and 16-11 against Perez, who won the European championship in 2019 and the silver medal of the World Championship in the same year.
