Egyptians will have a few competitions to contest on Saturday at the Tokyo Olympic Games, with the football team's mouthwatering clash against Brazil the main highlight.
The U23 team take on 2016 gold medalists in the quarter-final as they seek to cause an upset and book a semi-final spot for the first time since the 1964 Olympic Games, which also took place in Tokyo.
Gymnast Seif Sherif will start his campaign in the qualification round for the men's trampoline.
He will be looking to go one better than the 19-year-old Malak Hamza, who on Friday narrowly missed out on what would have been a historic place in the final after finishing ninth in the qualification round of the women's trampoline with 94.720 points.
Egypt's mixed team trap will also feature in the shooting's qualifying round and shooter Alzahraa Shaban also kicks off her campaign in the qualifying round of the women's 50m rifle three positions.
