Brotherhood accuse pro-Mubarak TV host of murdering Morsi supporter

Muslim Brotherhood hold anti-revolution TV presenter Tawfik Okasha responsible for death of Mohamed Morsi supporter, who was shot hanging a campaign poster of their official presidential candidate

The Muslim Brotherhood accused controversial TV presenter Tawfiq Okasha of killing one the supporters of their presidential candidate Mohamed Morsi, on the Brotherhood's official website Ikhwanonline. 

The Islamist group claimed that Ahmed Abu Abed and two others were shot while trying to hang a Morsi campaign poster in the village of Meet El-Karama in the Dakahlia governorate.

According to the site, the unidentified assailant told them that "this is a message from Tawfik Okasha to anyone who supports Morsi," right before he fired the shots.
Abu Abed was shot in the head and died.

Last year, Okasha ran in the latest parliamentary elections in his hometown Mansoura also in Dakahliya but lost. He has been openly critical of many pro-revolution and political figures. His show was known for its high viewership.
