French Cultural Institute

The new website is carefully designed to meet your requirements and facilitate access to information. With one click, you can view the spaces devoted to French language courses, Arabic language courses, various events in all branches (exhibitions, conferences, and cultural events). In addition to contacting the institute directly by sending your messages to any of its sectors through its website. If you have difficulty completing the French language courses at the headquarters of the French Institute in Egypt in Mounira, Heliopolis, New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed and Alexandria, you can continue them online. It takes the health of its customers very seriously and has implemented strict health measures to provide you with the best possible educational conditions. Wearing a mask is mandatory for all and physical spacing is respected in the classroom and in the building.

Sun 29, 2pm: A visual arts workshop, supervised by professor Adel Badr, includes drawing, design, and sculpture to motivate the center's pioneers of children and youth to think about using films as a visual stimulus. 

Sun 15 and Mon 16, 1pm: “Design and Make your Doll with your own Hands and Materials from the House”, a puppet workshop is held under the supervision of Roqaya Ahmed, where a number of materials available at home are used, including white cloth, satin, fiber, wood pieces, wire, scissors, and thread.  

Fri 20, Sat 21, Fri 27, and Sat 28, 4pm: “Design your own Infographics”, a free course in graphic art supervised by artist Heba Oraiba. The workshop includes introducing the photoshop programme, introducing infographics, design principles, and applications, training on the workshop’s final project about the subject of the environment and water issues.

 

On Saturdays and Wednesdays of every week at 12noon, a workshop entitled, “Still Life and Portraiture” for learning the basics and principles of drawing under the supervision of Rehab Abdel-Hamid

 

On Sundays and Fridays of each week at 1pm, an artistic, environmental, and handicraft workshop is held, under the supervision of Mohamed Abdel-Halim, to teach the center’s goers and people of special abilities, handicrafts, art, jewelry, and accessory making. 

 

On Saturdays at 4pm, a workshop will be held “Discover Your Talents” in the fields of playing music and singing, in cooperation with Awladna Foundation for people with special abilities.

On Mondays of every week at12noon, a number of events are designed by the centre for people with special abilities, including film screenings, computer games, storytelling, and visual arts workshops.
