President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has ratified amendments to some provisions of the Supreme Constitutional Court law.
Under the amendments, the court will monitor the constitutionality of the decisions of international associations and organisations and foreign court rulings that are required to be put into effect.
The prime minister can ask the Supreme Constitutional Court to issue a verdict on ignoring these decisions or rulings.
The amendments were published in the official gazette on Wednesday.
