Egypt's top two female squash talents, Raneem El-Weleily and Nour El-Sherbini, will seek to be the one to bring the glory home to Egypt when they meet today in the British Open semifinal.
Today's clash is the first-ever confrontation between Egyptian female players in the British Open Semifinals; the oldest and most established tournament in the game of squash.
Being only 16, Nour El-Sherbini will be eager to prove her worth, especially as she is the youngest-ever female player to reach the prestigious tournament's semifinal.
Twenty-three-year-old El-Weleily, has won the last two matches against El-Sherbini at the Malaysian and World Opens in 2010.
Also on Saturday, former Egyptian world number-one Ramy Ashour aims high, playing against world number one, James Willstrop from England, at the tournament's semifinal.
Ashour defeated compatriot Amr Shabana 3-2 on Friday in the quarterfinal.
