Ivory Coast and Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has denied recent claims that tonight's UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich is his last game as he is close to sealing a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.

"There are a lot of rumours about me being offered to Barcelona. It's not true. It's not true," Drogba was quoted as saying by SkySports.

"No matter what happens, everybody's talking a lot about 'the last game'. I'm just happy, because we're again in the Champions League final."

"Nobody expected us to be there at the beginning of the season, but I think we did everything to reach the finals," the 34-year-old-player added.

Chelsea's chief executive Ron Gourlay announced recently that the club would discuss a contract extension with Drogba after the European final — welcomed by the former Marseille hitman.

"We'll sit down with him and we're going to talk," explained Drogba whose current contract runs out this summer.

The Ivorian star has rediscovered his form under caretaker coach Roberto Di Matteo who replaced Andre Villas-Boas in March and will be hoping to bring home the Champions League trophy from Munich today.
